Besides rebuilding the house, the other equally daunting challenge has been to replace the landscaping which was completely destroyed in the Waldo fire on June 26, 2012. The cost for this is far exceeding what was covered in our insurance policy. In addition, we have also had to solve complex drainage and erosion problems, meaning that we have already spent thousands without planting a single tree!
